With generous volume to exploit, our innovative solution was to sever two floors from the vertical structure, and to hydraulically jack up and reattach them, creating space to insert an additional floor. We believe this process to be unprecedented in London. In successfully executing this, we transformed the building’s commercial potential adding over 30% NIA, whilst avoiding demolishing 900 tons of steel and concrete.
