Striking a balance between respecting historic context and providing exceptional space for contemporary office occupiers is key to the success of the scheme. The new design includes a distinctive Oriel window, framing stunning views of the adjacent Grade I Listed St Bride’s to the north. Low carbon, all-electric MEP systems, on site renewables, and rainwater harvesting will ensure that in use the building meets the highest efficiency standards. The exemplary private terraces and expansive roof garden for occupiers, along with a completely transformed, landscaped St Bride’s Passage will introduce extensive new greenery, especially in the public realm, benefitting the wider community.
By introducing two new floors of office space to make a total of 53,000 sq ft, the building will increase density on a well connected City site, supporting sustainable working. The project is set to be a market leader, delivering to an ambitious programme, the beautiful design will transform the building, creating exceptional amenity and performance whilst targeting the highest sustainability standards.
10 Salisbury Square has also been selected for the UK NZC Building Standards Pilot Testing Programme, leading the way in the wider industry’s push towards better sustainability standards.
